ISWAN Hardship Fund

This fund remains closed to new applications while our team in the Philippines continues to process the high volume of applications we have already received. We understand this is very difficult time for many families and we apologise for the delay - we are working hard to reopen the fund as soon as possible.

Please be aware that submitting an application does not guarantee that the requested funds will be granted. We are unable to respond to follow-up enquiries or unsuccessful applications, but those whose applications have been approved will receive a message from ISWAN and information from ShipMoney on how to access the funds.

Please check back on Friday 10 July for the next update. In the meantime, seafarers with any concerns can contact SeafarerHelp at any time, 24 hours a day.

The ISWAN Hardship Fund is a small grants fund for Filipino seafarers and their families with a financial need. It is designed to provide one-time financial grants to seafarers in need, which could include medical or educational support of up to US$500.

The fund is administered by the International Seafarers' Welfare and Assistance Network (ISWAN) and made possible by international maritime payment solutions provider ShipMoney, through their programme, ShipMoney Cares.
