ISWAN Hardship Fund


This fund is currently suspended. We understand this is very difficult time for many families and we apologise for the delay.

If you have already submitted an application, please be aware that this does not guarantee the requested funds will be granted. ISWAN is unable to respond to follow-up enquiries or unsuccessful applications, but those whose applications have been approved will receive a message from ISWAN and information from ShipMoney on how to access the funds.

The ISWAN Hardship Fund is a small grants fund for Filipino seafarers and their families with a financial need. It is designed to provide one-time financial grants to seafarers in need, which could include medical or educational support of up to US$500.

The fund is administered by the International Seafarers' Welfare and Assistance Network (ISWAN) and made possible by international maritime payment solutions provider ShipMoney, through their programme, ShipMoney Cares.
