SeafarerHelp, from the
International Seafarers Assistance Network (ISAN), provides advice, assistance and support to seafarers of all nationalities across the globe.

Our helpdesk runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help you with any problems you might have.

Abandonment

Every year, seafarers find themselves abandoned by their ship owner in ports across the world. If that happens to you, you may be faced with a very complex problem. Often you will not have been paid your salary for months and supplies have dried up on the ship, leaving you without adequate food or water.

We approach this problem by first helping the seafarers with their immediate needs like looking for people or organizations that can provide them food and water onboard. Then the other needs will be addressed such as referring them to people or organizations that can help them get their unpaid salaries and other claims including help in their repatriation process.
